In the State of Ohio, workers compensation laws were established to create a system to compensate employees who were injured in the course of and arising out of their employment. The goal of the law is to provide reasonable compensation to all injured workers who can prove they are entitled to participate in the workers compensation system. There are many different types of benefits an injured worker may be entitled to, including medical benefits, temporary total disability, wage loss, permanent partial disability and death benefits. It is our goal to make certain the necessary building blocks are in place to ensure the claim goes smoothly and without interruption for our clients. We are prepared to assist every step of the way by filing the claim, challenging any denial of the claim, filing for additional conditions, attending all Industrial Commission hearings and even providing representation if the matter needs to be filed with a State Court or Court of Appeals.
