Our History

The roots of Blumenstiel Falvo LLC date back to the 1950's, when four veterans of World War II and the Korean War formed a law firm to serve railroad union members under the Federal Employees Liability Act and other types of personal injury laws. This resulted in the firm litigating in every state East of the Mississippi for the next half century.

That experience, and the passage of time, has seen many changes, not only in the Attorneys and staff, but also in the areas of practice the firm offers its clients. In 1970, after two tours in Vietnam, James B. Blumenstiel joined the firm, specializing in personal injury litigation.          In 2003, Aaron R. Falvo came to Blumenstiel Falvo LLC, joining the personal injury litigation team and adding workers compensation, business formation and business litigation to the firm offerings. A year later, Braden A. Blumenstiel became a member, further adding to the practice areas of personal injury litigation, probate litigation, and business litigation, and expanding the firm's practice areas to include employment law. Over the past few years, Blumenstiel Falvo LLC has been fortunate enough to form an Of Counsel relationship with Richard Kolb, who practices probate litigation and assists in drafting probate-related legislation for the state of Ohio.
